Excel has one sheet with no formulas or macros. CSV uses UTF-8 and semicolons. If Excel opens a CSV in one column, use Data → From Text/CSV with a semicolon delimiter, or download the .xlsx version.
Choose your activity. Replace the four fictional rows with your items; do not add titles, subtotals or merged cells to the table. Use one row per item and keep the headers.
In the app, open Catalog or Menu and products, find Import catalog and choose Excel or CSV. Files are not uploaded on this page: upload them inside your business workspace.
Select the data sheet and header row. Review the mapping for name, price and additional fields. Excel examples have one sheet to simplify this step.
Check names, categories, prices, item types and, where relevant, costs and quantities. Review duplicates and choose how to handle them. Complete or correct data before selecting what to import.
Save only when the draft is correct. Review the resulting catalog, photos and availability. For retail, also check whether starting inventory was loaded before entering those quantities again.
Name and price are the foundation. Other fields depend on the item and your workflow. A blank cell and zero do not mean the same thing.
Examples use whole numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators. Review the importer's separator settings and the draft's amount before confirming.
Check that every row has a valid name and price. Review warnings and duplicates; correct the file or draft rather than confirming an incomplete list.
Samples have no image links. Add a direct public URL or upload photos in the app. Product pages and private files may not be readable as images.
Check the item type, plan and stock-loading mode. Restaurants need ingredients or recipes; only physical products carry stock in services. Check a load's result before repeating it.
Use a text-based PDF or supported public catalog. Scans, protected pages and some layouts may need adaptation. Always review the draft; Excel and CSV let you arrange fields explicitly.
