Send a signed notice to the contact above identifying the protected work, the exact material and its URL, and your contact details. Include a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized and an accuracy/authority statement under penalty of perjury. We may request missing information.

We review notices promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable identified material and its public variants, and notify the uploader. We also act on actual knowledge or apparent infringement; a court judgment is not required for every action.

For a mistake or misidentification, send a signed counter-notice identifying the removed material and previous location, your name, address and telephone, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, and the jurisdiction/service-of-process statements required by 17 USC §512(g)(3). A compliant counter-notice is forwarded to the claimant. Applicable reinstatement is 10–14 business days after receipt, unless notice of a qualifying court action is received.
